These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of GRAB ("the App"), a peer-to-peer file search and transfer application for iPhone and Mac developed by Aloium. By downloading or using GRAB, you agree to these Terms.

The service

GRAB lets you search for files on your Mac using natural language and transfer them to your paired iPhone over an encrypted connection. Searching and local (same-network) transfers are free and unlimited. Remote transfers — when your devices are on different networks — are routed through a relay server and are subject to the limits of your plan.

Free plan

The Free plan includes unlimited local search, unlimited same-network (LAN) transfers, and a limited number of remote (relay) transfers per month, with a per-file size limit. Exact limits are shown in the App and may be adjusted over time.

GRAB Plus subscription

GRAB Plus is an optional auto-renewable subscription that increases remote transfer limits (higher monthly relay allowance and a larger per-file size limit). Plus is offered as:

• Monthly — billed every month
• Yearly — billed every twelve months

Prices are shown in the App in your local currency at the time of purchase.

Billing and renewal

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Relay and encryption

Remote transfers pass through a relay server operated by Aloium. All data is end-to-end encrypted; the relay forwards encrypted bytes only and cannot read, decrypt, or store your files. The relay is provided on a best-effort basis. Aloium does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the relay service.

Acceptable use

You agree to use GRAB only for lawful purposes and only with files you own or are authorized to transfer. You are solely responsible for the content you search and transfer.

Disclaimer

GRAB is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aloium is not liable for any loss of data, damages, or interruptions arising from the use of the App. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important files.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be available at this URL with a revised date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
